A collection of traditional artworks featuring animals endowed with human qualities. They are featured in the Panchatantra stories – an ancient Indian collection of interrelated animal fables written in Sanskrit around 200 BC by Vishnu Sharma to teach “nīti” (wise conduct of life) to three princes.
