Using painting, drawing, collage, found materials, and type, Greg Colson explores our cultural obsession with efficiency, data, and analysis in both literary and visual dimensions. ‘14 Day Juice Challenge’ opens with a poem, and is followed by visual works around numbers and quantification that relate back to the poem. The first of a series, each book stands on its own as a complete work. The book concludes with a conversation between the artist and publisher, Nina Holland, about the poetic form. This large-format book was printed on a lithographic printing press using a wet-on-dry process, a technique that allows for an extraordinary level of detail.
