SQIRL: Aprium & Olallieberry Jam

Hidden behind a flowering pink tabebuia tree at the edge of Silver Lake in Los Angeles sits Sqirl. Since 2011 they’ve been making small-batch preserves on site, in copper jam pans, according to techniques developed in the 1500s. 

Part Aprium (1/4th Plum to 3/4th apricot), which has all the notes of an apricot married to the richness of a plum and part Olallieberry (tastes like a boysenberry mixed with a blackberry), this is an incredibly flavorful jam.
